Social Media Content Strategist and Video Editor
(Remote Ok, Local to Alamo, CA Ideal)

IRON55 is our transformative nutrition program designed to reset food selections, optimize wellness, and build sustainable health habits, available through our comprehensive book and online platform. We’re seeking a creative and strategic individual to help grow our social media presence, increase followers for both The Iron House and IRON55, and drive online sales for the IRON55 program. This role is remote, as we handle filming and on-camera content creation in-house, but we need guidance and expertise to maximize impact across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy & Planning:
– Develop a social media content strategy to grow followers for The Iron House and IRON55 on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
– Create a content calendar with engaging, brand-aligned posts, reels, and videos to maintain consistency.
– Suggest ideas for themes, challenges, campaigns, and promotions that resonate with fitness and wellness audiences.
2. Content Writing & Direction:
– Write captions, video scripts, and content outlines that align with our brand tone and messaging.
– Provide guidance on filming topics, shot ideas, and sequences for engaging social media videos.
3. Video Editing & Creative Support:
– Edit videos we produce in-house to create polished, professional content that aligns with platform best practices.
– Add music, text overlays, transitions, and other creative elements to enhance audience engagement.
4. Community Engagement:
– Help manage and grow our online communities by creating interactive posts and responding to comments or messages.
– Track performance analytics and suggest adjustments to maximize reach and engagement.
5. Brand Growth & E-Commerce Support:
– Develop strategies to promote the IRON55 program online, including creating ads, promotional posts, and email content.
– Work with our team to brainstorm ideas for cross-promotional opportunities between The Iron House and IRON55.
Skills & Qualifications:
– Proven experience managing and growing social media accounts for brands (preferably in fitness, wellness, or related industries).
– Excellent writing and editing skills for social media platforms.
– Strong video editing skills with proficiency in tools like Final Cut Pro (premium), or similar.
– Understanding of social media trends, platform algorithms, and best practices.
– Ability to analyze content performance and pivot strategies based on insights.
– Creative thinker with an eye for detail and brand consistency.
– Self-motivated and able to work independently with remote collaboration.
